NOTE: The audio uses two scanners that feed into stereo. The left side feeds all fire frequencies and the right side feeds all police agencies. Use left/right balance control in your sound properties window if you want to separate the feeds. Winamp is the recommended player. If balance control is not available you will hear both receivers.
If an active incident is occurring there will be an alert banner displayed at the top of the page. This alert may be updated if additional information is warranted. The alert banner will only be posted if the moderator is listening to the scanner or aware of an active incident. The information displayed on the alerts is obtained from radio traffic only and may not be fully accurate.
If you missed an event or were unable to listen to it live you can always listen to as it happened by going to Radio Reference archive page. They have recorded all of the recent radio traffic for the Yakima scanner in 15 minute segments.
